Position Overview
The store manager is responsible for overseeing the customer experience, training and development of the store staff, leading by example on the selling floor and maintaining the store standards on the selling floor and the stockroom.
People Development
- Ensures all associates complete their training per company guidelines
- Leads by example by training, developing and providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering the customer experience
Customer Experience
- Ensures an excellent level of customer service as a priority at all times by executing and achieving the customer experience consistently through regular assessment, coaching and follow up with team
- Maintains all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Drive sales and profitability
- Meets or exceeds profitability for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversion.
- Operational effectiveness
- Controls company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures. Execution and complies with all company policies and procedures

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results and training and developing a team of individuals
- Positive leadership, energy
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Capacity to manage stressful situations
- Multitasking
- Computer savvy
- Capacity to understand and analyse retail reports
- High school education or equivalent required
- Scheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of 8 hours and weekend days
- Passion and knowledge for fashion and luxury goods sector
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Proactive and determined
