The most magical time of the year is almost here, and it all starts at Victoria Square! Join us on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November for our Christmas Lights Switch-On Weekend, two unforgettable days of festive fun, live entertainment, and a bustling local Christmas fayre.

The celebrations begin at 12 noon on Saturday, when the Christmas lights are officially switched on, transforming Victoria Square into a sparkling winter wonderland. Enjoy a festive afternoon filled with free face painting, festive performers, and reindeer visits.

Climb aboard and journey through twinkling lights to Santa’s village, where you’ll meet the man himself in his enchanting grotto.
